IACE CHINA 2026 On-Site Insights: Three Key Shifts in the Advanced Ceramics Industry

On March 24, 2026, the 18th China International Advanced Ceramics Exhibition (IACE CHINA 2026) officially opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

As an active participant in the advanced ceramics industry, the team from Easontek visited the exhibition on-site, conducting in-depth observations and exchanges with industry peers.

Compared with previous editions, one of our most direct impressions is:

this is no longer just a platform for product display, but a live snapshot of an industry undergoing structural transformation.

1. The Scale Is Bigger — But More Importantly, the Structure Has Evolved

This year’s exhibition spans over 55,000 square meters, bringing together more than 1,000 exhibitors and 2,000 brands worldwide.

However, what truly stands out is not just the scale, but the integration of the industrial ecosystem.

The “Five Co-located Exhibitions” model connects advanced ceramics with powder metallurgy, powder processing, magnetic materials, and additive manufacturing.

What we observed clearly:

In the past: fragmented, product-focused showcases

Today: fully integrated industry chain presentation

For companies like Easontek, deeply engaged in the electronic ceramics sector, this shift signals that:

Customer demand is moving beyond single equipment purchases

There is increasing interest in complete production line solutions

Cross-process and upstream/downstream integration is becoming critical

2. Strong Momentum in Electronic Ceramics, Especially on the Equipment Side

In the electronic ceramics segment, a clear trend is emerging:

High-end applications are accelerating rapidly

We observed strong activity in areas such as:

Semiconductor-related ceramics (e.g., ESCs, heaters)

MLCC and related components

Functional and precision structural ceramics

From an equipment perspective, several key trends stood out:

(1) Higher Requirements for Precision and Stability

Customers are no longer satisfied with specifications alone—they are focusing on long-term operational stability.

(2) Automation and Digitalization Are Becoming Standard

Across processes such as lamination, forming, and inspection, automation is increasingly expected.

(3) Rising Demand for Flexibility

Small-batch, multi-product production is becoming more common, requiring more adaptable equipment.

These trends strongly align with the customer base we serve—particularly R&D lines and small-to-medium scale production—further validating our current business direction.

3. Customers Are Becoming More Sophisticated — and More Rational

Through discussions with customers and industry partners, another shift became evident:

Customers today are more knowledgeable about equipment, processes, and materials.

This leads to:

Longer decision-making cycles

Deeper technical discussions

Increasing difficulty in “simple equipment sales”

Instead, the market is moving toward:

Solution-driven engagement

Core capabilities now include:

Process understanding

Equipment-process matching

Integration of materials and equipment

This trend is reshaping expectations for companies like Easontek.

4. From Equipment Supplier to Industry Integrator

This visit also prompted us to rethink our role in the industry.

At this stage, simply supplying equipment or materials is no longer sufficient.

What customers truly need is:

A partner who can connect the entire process chain

This includes:

Equipment selection guidance

Process optimization

Upstream and downstream resource integration

Support for new technology adoption

This is also the direction Easontek is actively strengthening—

evolving from a product supplier into a system-level solution provider in electronic ceramics.

5. Conclusion: An Industry Entering Accelerated Differentiation Our biggest takeaway from IACE CHINA 2026 is:

The industry is entering a phase of accelerated differentiation

High-end segments continue to advance

Competition in mid-to-low-end markets intensifies

Technology and resources are concentrating toward leading players

At the same time, this creates new opportunities:

For specialized and service-oriented companies, the window is widening

Easontek will continue to focus on the electronic ceramics field, providing integrated solutions across equipment, materials, and processes.

If you are working in advanced ceramics or exploring related technologies, we welcome further discussion and collaboration.
